Dieses Zitat von Victor Hugo lässt etliche Texte und Inhalte von Gunnar Golinski kaum treffender zu beschreiben. Insbesondere in seinen Balladen, in welchen ein großer Anteil autobiografische Erlebnisse verarbeitet wird, ist die Poesie, die rein emotionale Ausdrucksweise, durch die Kombination von Text und Musik sofort spürbar.

Dabei weder durch Mainstream oder Zeitgeist verbiegbar. Mal bissig, mal unglaublich humorvoll. Mal melancholisch, teilweise zynisch schwäbisch. Dabei immer offen, nicht festgelegt aber überraschend. Weder besser wissend noch "Oberlehrerhaft". Dennoch provozierend und entlarvend. Außergewöhnlich, Poesie in Schwäbisch.

Das Ganze mit Musik zwischen klassischem Rock und Blues, Einflüssen aus irischem und Südstaaten Folk, mal druckvoll und offen, mal ganz nah und verletzlich. Darüber hinaus Generationsübergreifend.
